Data Protection

Privacy Policy

This is a convenience translation. The German version is legally authoritative.

1. Data Controller

Anders Damkier, CloudAlpha Consult, Baumkirchner Straße 25a, 81673 München, Germany. Email: info@cloudalpha-consult.de

2. Hosting

This site is hosted with Strato, which processes server log data (IP address, timestamp, browser type, referrer URL) as part of standard hosting operations.

3. Contact Form

Information you submit via the contact form is stored to process your inquiry and any follow-up.

Each time the form is submitted, the form plugin we use (WPForms) additionally stores your IP address and browser identification (user agent) at the time of submission. This serves as a record of the consent given and protects the form against abuse. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) for the details you provide, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in verifiability and abuse prevention) for the IP address and user agent.

4. Cookies & Analytics

This website uses no analytics, tracking or advertising services. No usage profiles are created and no third-party cookies are set.

Cookies are used only to the extent technically necessary: WordPress sets session and authentication cookies exclusively for users logged into the site administration. No cookies are set for visitors to the website. The language selection (German/English) is handled entirely through the URL and not by a cookie.

All fonts are served locally from our own server. No connection is made to Google Fonts or any other external font or CDN service, and your IP address is therefore not transmitted to any third party.

Because only technically necessary cookies are used, no consent is required under § 25(2) TDDDG. Accordingly, no cookie banner is used.

Should analytics or audience-measurement services be introduced in future, this privacy notice will be updated beforehand and, where required, a consent solution with prior blocking will be implemented.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, such as the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision.
